Assistant Dean for Career Planning and Professional Development
The staff members of the recently renamed Center for Career Planning and Professional Development want to be among the first at the law school to welcome returning students back to campus, and to welcome 1L, transfer, visiting, and LL.M. students to the UO Law community.
My goal as Assistant Dean is to create programs and other opportunities that will help each of you identify and reach your goals. My staff and I look forward to collaborating with you on your professional development, an important piece of your law school education. Our doors are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. Stop by soon to say hello and let us know how your career planning is progressing. We’d love to help!
This fall, we are excited to offer a busy schedule of programs, and we look forward to your active participation. We are seeing attorney hiring picking up, and we are optimistic about your ability to achieve professional happiness and success. By attending Career Center programs, you will satisfy three important steps to securing summer and post-graduation employment: engaging in hard work; keeping an open mind; and maintaining a positive attitude.
