Elizabeth Frost earned her undergraduate degree from Yale University and her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School, where she was managing editor of the Michigan Journal of Race and Law. Before joining Oregon Law, she practiced with the firm Sidley Austin in both Los Angeles and Chicago, focusing on commercial real estate. Professor Frost teaches Legal Research and Writing courses as well as Legal Drafting, Intensive Writing, and Advanced Legal Research.
She is co-chair of the 2012 Western Regional Legal Writing Conference being held in Eugene, Oregon. She has served on committees for the Legal Writing Institute and the AALS Section on Legal Writing, Reasoning, and Research. She is a frequent contributor to the Oregon State Bar Bulletin's monthly column The Legal Writer.
