Jake Logan

Senior Director of Development

A native Floridian, Logan joined the law school in the summer of 2012 as Senior Director of Development and External Affairs. He previously served in a similar role in the College of Engineering at the University of Florida during the school’s successful $1.7 billion campaign.

Logan began his career in nonprofit fundraising more than a decade ago with the American Heart Association where he ultimately became Vice President of Field Development before leaving to work for his alma mater. Logan was recognized nationally for his pioneering work in web-based fundraising strategies.

Logan and his wife Sheena have two sons and a beagle named Athena. Avid distance runners and craft beer enthusiasts, the family was attracted to Eugene in part because of its reputation as Track Town, USA and the state’s outstanding craft beer scene.

The couple has run more than 20 marathons between them, including four Boston Marathons. Logan once ran 50-mile race in the Florida Keys where he finished 3rd overall.

When he left Florida, Logan was President of the Florida Track Club and continues his community service as a current board member for both Team Run Eugene and Cottage Theatre.
