Clinics & Externships
Oregon Law's clinics give students exposure to the practice of law in a variety of different contexts. Whether a student's focus is on gaining generally applicable practice skills or on developing expertise in a particular substantive area, Oregon Law's clinics provide invaluable experience.
Our International Law faculty makes every effort in working with students to develop individual externship experiences that assist in facilitating meaningful learning, future employment, and to build upon the student's interests and passion in this area of the law. Past externships for students interested in international experiences include work with global relief organizations, development agencies, refugee resettlement and immigrant rights offices, and other government and non-government organizations (NGOs). Examples include: Center for Justice and Accountability, Catholic Charities, Center for Refugee and Gender Studies, The Florence Project, Nexos Voluntarios, and ProBusqueda among others.
