Oregon Law announces newly awarded professorships
Seven faculty members earn prestigious professorships, fellowships
In August, seven members of the University of Oregon School of Law faculty were named recipients of endowed professorships and fellowships, law school Dean Michael Moffitt announced.
Each year, the school’s faculty advisory committee on chairs meets with the dean to determine how the coming year’s vacant professorships and fellowships should be filled.
“The committee’s deliberations were candid and thoughtful, as was their advice,” Dean Moffitt said in his announcement to the law school community.
The new 2011-12 endowed professors and fellows for the school of law are:
