Oregon Law Hosts 90th Birthday Bash for Former Professor Milton Ray, Announces Tax Scholarship
Former Oregon Law tax professor Milton “Milt” Ray (lovingly know as “Death Ray” by several former students) was the guest of honor recently at a party celebrating his 90th birthday. The soiree was organized by Ray’s son Glenn Ray, a 1978 Oregon Law graduate, and his family.
The evening welcomed family, friends, former colleagues, and former students of Milt, who all paid tribute to his illustrious career. The event was highlighted by the announcement of the Milton Ray Family Tax Law Scholarship, a scholarship for outstanding students studying tax law, made possible by Milt’s family.
