Reunions 2012 Classes Reunite and Reconnect
On Friday, Sept. 14, scores of alumni headed over to the Ford Alumni Center to catch up with former classmates and relive their fondest law school memories as part of the University of Oregon School of Law Reunions 2012 weekend. Those in attendance included law school alumni from the classes of ’52, ’57, ’62, ’67, ’72, ’77, ’82, ’92 and ’07. The reunion weekend kicked off Friday with the Oregon Law Golf Invitational and ended on Sunday, Sept. 16, with a farewell breakfast in the Knight Law Center.
The main event included a reception and reunion dinner on Friday evening in the alumni center followed by a class social hour at the Knight Law School. At dinner, alumni dined on Mediterranean stuffed chicken, stuffed portabella mushrooms, parmesan orzo salad and fresh seasonal vegetables while a slideshow featuring photos of Oregon law memories captured on camera played in the background. During the evening, members of the class of 1962 were inducted into the Order of the Emerald to celebrate their 50th reunion. Afterward, alumni were invited back to the law school to enjoy drinks and dessert with their graduating class.
During the reunion weekend, alumni also had the opportunity to join a McKenzie River rafting trip and attend an Oregon Ducks football tailgate party before the university’s first Pac-12 game of the season.
