Law School welcomes new faculty, senior director of development

The University of Oregon School of Law is pleased to welcome several new members to the Oregon Law community. Our new and visiting faculty bring a wide variety of real-world and classroom experience to the 2012-13 academic year.

Jake Logan: Senior Director of Development
Logan, a professional development officer with more than 10 years experience, has been hired as the new senior director of development for the University of Oregon School of Law. Logan began his appointment with the School of Law on June 25. READ MORE.

Erik Girvan: New Faculty
Girvan practiced complex commercial litigation at Faegre & Benson LLP (now Faegre Baker Daniels LLP) for seven years during which time he litigated more than 100 cases. He also maintained an active pro bono practice in landlord/tenant law. READ MORE.

Elizabeth Tippett: New Faculty
Tippett’s research interest focuses on employment law and dispute resolution. She practiced as an employment law attorney at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she represented technology companies in litigation relating to trade secret misappropriation, employment contracts, and employment discrimination. Jared Margolis: Visiting Faculty
Margolis is the Executive Director of the Northern Environmental Law Center. Over the past six years, he developed a private law practice with a focus on energy and
environmental regulation and land use law. READ MORE.

Anne Mullins: Visiting Faculty
Mullins extends her teaching commitment at Oregon Law for another year. She spent five years at Susman Godfrey LLP in Houston, where she specialized in complex commercial litigation.

Arnold Rosenberg: Visiting Faculty
Rosenberg is Assistant Dean of Thomas Jefferson School of Law and Director of the Walter H. and Dorothy B. Diamond Graduate Program in International Tax and Financial Services. READ MORE.
