1960s

Mark McCulloch '67 became a firm shareholder at Farleigh, Wada, & Witt.

Kenneth D. Stephens '67 earned a Portland Lawyers of the Year designation for his work in banking and finance law.

1970s

Michael Moore '72 became an associate in Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt's Portland firm.

U.S. Senator Ron Wyden '74 became Chair of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.

Bill Hanlon '76 was appointed as district attorney in Jefferson County.

Robert Nunn '76 was elected to serve on the Multnomah Athletic Club Board of Trustees for a three-year term.

Frank C. Gibson '79 received the Joseph M. Kosydar Award for Professionalism. Established in memory of a long-time Lane County deputy district attorney who passed away in 1997, the award honors the professionalism and civility exemplified by Kosydar. Gibson is the president and managing shareholder for the Eugene law firm Hutchinson, Cox, Coons, Orr & Sherlock P.C.

Lynn Shepard '79 received the Andrew Clement Pro Bono Award. The award honors an individual who has provided exceptional service to persons of limited means. Shephard, of Shepard Law Offices in Eugene, is a member of the boards for numerous nonprofits, including: Lane County Law and Advocacy, Halfway House Services, Community Mediation Services, and the Advisory Board for Lane County Family Mediation.

1980s

Paul Hribernick '80 spoke at the International Academic Association on Planning, Law and Property Rights on the topic of the land use approval process under Statewide Planning Goal 5.

Garey F. Butler '82 was appointed vice president of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida Inc.

Sarah J. Ryan '82 joined Jackson Lewis as a partner.

Kellye Wise '83 became vice president of human resources and labor for Roseburg Forest Products.

The Honorable Eveleen Henry '85 received the Distinguished Service Award at the Lane County Bar Association's annual Spring Bash and Awards Presentation. The award honors an individual who has provided extraordinary service to the legal profession and the people of Lane County.

Suzan Clark '86 was appointed bar judge of the Clark County Bar Association.

Myles Conway '88 became partner at Joins Marten's Law office in Portland.

James Dole '89 became a shareholder for Watkinson, Laird, Rubenstein, Baldwin & Burgess.

1990s

Rebecca W. Pritchett '93 joined Waller, Lansden, Dortch & Davis in Nashville, TN, as a partner.

Lainie Block '94 was elected to the board of director of Girls Inc. of Northwest Oregon.

Patrick Melendy '96 now practices family law and criminal prosecution at Leahy, Van Vactor, Cox & Melendy. He joined the firm in 2011.

Michael Reisner '97 will lead the Upper Mississippi Studies Center at Augustana College.

Inga Deckert '98 has been elected to Tonkon Torp's partnership.

Noah Jarrett '99 became a General Litigation assistant group leader.

Caroline MacLaren '99 became deputy director of the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development.

Joel Parker '99 became a shareholder on the board of Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt.

Kyle Wuepper '99 became a partner at Ball Janik LLP.

2000s

James Underwood '01 announced the opening of a new firm: Underwood Medina.

Valeri Sasaki '01 joined Samuels, Yoelin & Kantor as an associate in the taxation group.

Michael Chan '02 was hired into the Tax, Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice group of Sheppard Mullin.

Kristin Olson '02 formed a civil litigation defense firm.

Kenny Kennedy '03 joined John Marandas and Matthew McClellan in their starting of a new firm.

Brian Weeks '03 has been elected president of the board for Community Pathways, a not-for-profit support services brokerage serving disabled people in the Portland area.

Katie Dzurec-Dunton '04 joined the Maine Community Health Options as director, compliance and regulatory affairs.

Adam Hoyt '04 became a partner at Pia, Anderson, Dorious, Reynard and Moss.

Joseph L. Jenkins '04, formerly Senior Counsel for the state Department of Environmental Protection, has been chosen by Lewis, Glasser, Casey and Rollins PLLC to expand the law firm's environmental practices and services.

Jane Yates '04 became a shareholder for Watkinson, Laird, Rubenstein, Baldwin & Burgess.

Timothy Hearing '05 became a firm partner at Dunn Carney et al.

John Christianson '06 became a shareholder for Watkinson, Laird, Rubenstein, Baldwin & Burgess.

Daniel Peterson '06 has joined the business litigation group at Cosgrave, Vergeer & Kester LLP as an associate.

Zuzana Stepanek '06 was elected president of the Bohemian Lawyers' Association of Chicago, 2013-2014. She also was named as a 2011, 2012, and 2013 Illinois Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine and named as a Pro Bono Champion by the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Mario Conte '07 and Pablo Valentine '07 became partners in the Eugene firm of Hershner Hunter.

Traci Ray '07 has been named executive director of Tonkon Torp. She also acts as Barran Liebman LLP's director of marketing, client services and events.

Ali Seals '09, associate attorney at Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, joined the board of Ethos Music Center.

2010s

Meng Ouyang '10 became an associate attorney at Hecht & Norman.

Christopher Page '10 joined Hershner Hunter as an associate.

Krista Schuchard '10 and Nicholas Mancuso '10 were married October 20, 2012, in Santa Rosa, California.
