- Membership
To ensure that JELL members are proficient editors, membership is by competition only. Members are selected from a joint Oregon Law Review/JELL/ORIL Law Review Competition open to all second- and third-year students. Selection is based on the following:
- thorough knowledge of editing principles and rules;
- talent for legal writing; and
- the dedicated work-ethic necessary for editing lengthy journal articles.
