The head of Octagon's football division, Ken has extensive experience in contract negotiations and virtually all aspects necessary to fully serve the interests of a diverse set of sports industry clients. He is well versed in arbitration, mediation, and various legal and business matters that invariably arise during and after a client's career. In addition to representing professional athletes, Ken has advised respected leaders in the NFL and NCAA, including executives and head coaches, helped in cultivating a grassroots scouting development program which is now part of the NFL, and for several years was a player development consultant to a professional team. Prior to joining Octagon in 2001, Ken was a business partner of Ray Anderson (current NFL Executive VP of Football Operations) in establishing and operating a highly successful sports agency for nearly 15 years (AR Sports), which developed a strong reputation in baseball arbitration and the representation of trailblazing minority coaches. Before graduating from Santa Clara University Law School, Ken was an All-California Division I athlete, and a high school and collegiate summer league coach in football and baseball.
