Public Law and Policy Program
Statements of Completion
Students interested in public law and policy are passionate about social issues that shape the most important areas of our lives. Nonetheless, public-minded students may have quite divergent career paths depending on their specific interests. As such, the Public Law and Policy Program offers two Statements of Completion that guide students through a customizable course-load to prepare for a career in public interest law or law and public policy. A statement of completion in Public Interest Law will give students the knowledge, skills and experience to become successful public interest lawyers, while the statement of completion in Law and Public Policy will prepare students for more policy-oriented careers.
In order to earn either a statement of completion in public interest law or law and public policy, a student must take courses from an established curriculum and complete an academic research paper in public interest or law and public policy of high professional quality.
A full listing of the statements of completion offered by the law school is available to current students on MyLaw.
