The Sports Law faculty makes every effort in working with students to develop individual externship experiences that assist in facilitating both meaningful learning and future employment, as well as to build upon the student's interests and passion. Recent externships include Nike, adidas, the Seattle Sports Commission, and Octagon Football (San Francisco). Oregon Law students have also participated in paid positions and externships with the University of Oregon Athletics Department. Learn More.
Oregon Law students regularly attend sports law-related moot court, arbitration, and business case competitions throughout the nation. These and other similar hands-on learning opportunities enhance the classroom experience and provide students with the opportunity to hone their lawyering skills.
