Who We Are:

OutLaws is the LGBTQ student group at the University of Oregon School of Law. The organization seeks to create community among LGBTQ members of the law school, as well as foster a broader network of LGBTQ students and professionals in the area. By offering events and speaking engagements, OutLaws invites all members of the law school and legal community to engage in LGBTQ issues and activist efforts.

LGBTQ Identity & U of O:

As part of our mission, OutLaws seeks to engage incoming LGBTQ students and allies to connect them with other community members. Further, the group offers a space for students to come together and discuss issues facing LGBTQ individuals today. In essence, the group provides a platform for LGBTQ students to organize events, collaborate on issues, and offer support to one another.

OutLaws also regularly engages with undergraduate and law school organizations to plan and coordinate events regarding social change and equality. Through these events, OutLaws members are able to connect with the University’s student body to increase awareness about LGBTQ issues.

All are welcome to join OutLaws as members or allies.  Check the MyLaw calendar for meeting announcements and events.
