The University of Oregon School of Law distinguishes itself once again as a top law school in the Pacific Northwest according to U.S. News and World Report. Oregon Law boasts three top-ranked specialty programs which are among the best in the nation: Legal Writing (3), Dispute Resolution (6) and Environmental Law (12). Only four public law schools in the United States achieved this distinction. Oregon Law’s overall ranking places it first among those in the state and second among law schools in the region.
“We are always happy to be recognized among the nation’s best,” said Michael Moffitt, Dean of Oregon Law. “I am grateful to the University for its enduring commitment to our success and for the dedication of our alumni, faculty, and staff who continue to create innovative opportunities to prepare our students for future leadership.”
The school has recently expanded its Portland Program, opened a new Law Clinics Building in Eugene, and welcomed an experienced Washington, D.C. environmental policy-maker to its faculty. In addition, the U.S. News rankings, the school’s Master of Laws program has been selected among the top 10 for alternative dispute resolution by LLM Guide.
