I have been mediating as a volunteer with the Center for Dialog and Resolution for 20 years, doing community, small claims, restorative justice and mobile home park cases. For the past 3 years I have also been doing couples mediation at the Center for Community Counseling My original training was at the law school with Lynn Cox of Bridgewater, and I have done additional trainings in restorative justice and with Dudley Weeks.
For several years I have been doing a brief active listening training for mobile park managers as part of their required bi-annual training. I’ve also served as an informal mentor for beginning mediators at CDR and have been coaching role plays for CDR’s basic mediation trainings for a number of years.
I have a BS from Antioch College, 1967, an MFA. Ceramics, from the UofO, 1973 and a MS, Counseling from the UofO, 1991. I have been a studio ceramic artist, a counselor at LCC and an independent educational video producer.
