Where do I Park?

The Knight Law Center (law school) is located at 1515 Agate St. in Eugene (map).

  • Parking near the Knight Law Center is first-come, first-served at the metered locations adjacent to the school on 17th Avenue and across the street.  The meters are credit card/debit card operated until 8:00 pm. Parking is also available in the Columbia Garage, located below the Ford Alumni Center, accessible from East 13th Avenue.
  • There are also paid lots near the EMU on University Ave across from Hendricks Hall and next to the Rec Center along 15th St.
  • On Saturday, there will be a charge for parking at the meters until 8:00 p.m. The Law School faculty lot (43) on the south side of the Knight Law Center (enter from 17th Avenue), the parking lot (38) across the street from the law school and the parking lot (34C) behind the law school are free on Saturday and are roughly a one-mile walk to Autzen Stadium.

We also recommend looking into “Duck Downtown” benefits for those of you arriving via Amtrak and also visiting the Lane Transit District website for Eugene EmX and bus schedules.


Where do I stay?

The Holiday Inn Express on Franklin Blvd. is offering Law Alumni weekend rates. More information is available HERE.


What's the first thing I should do when I arrive on Thursday?

If you signed up for the Trivia Night then show up at Falling Sky Pizzeria and Public House in the Erb Memorial Union (EMU - 1395 University St., ground level) to check in. Directions are above and Trivia Night starts at 5:30 pm. Trivia will start at 6pm.


What can I expect to eat and/or drink on Thursday?

Pizza, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages will be served during the Thursday Trivia Night at the EMU’s Falling Sky Pizzeria and Public House. 


What's the first thing I should do when I arrive on Friday?

If you are attending the Jordon Schnitzer Museum of Art Tour, please arrive at the museum (1430 Johnson Lane) by 11:00 am. Professor Emeritus Dom Vetri will be leading this tour.

If you have signed up for a Campus Tour, please arrive a few minutes early and meet in front of the Dean’s Suites on the 1st floor in the Knight Law Center (1515 Agate St.). The tour starts at 1:00 pm.

The Class Reunion Receptions will be on the 2nd floor in the Knight Law Center (1515 Agate St.) and begin at 4:30 PM.

The Law Alumni Awards Dinner and Reception begins at 5:30 p.m. in the EMU Ballroom (1395 University St., 2nd floor). There will be a check-in table at which time you can pick up your football tickets that you already purchased.


What can I expect to eat and/or drink on Friday?

Light hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine will be served during the Multicultural Alumni and Student reception.

Light hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine will be served during the Class Reunion Receptions.

The Law Alumni Award Dinner will include one drink ticket, hors d’oeuvres, an entrée of chicken or eggplant (vegetarian option), dessert, table wine, and Port.


What's the dress code for the Alumni Weekend events?

Casual attire for the Trivia Night, Jordan Schnitzer Museum Tour, and the Campus Tour.

Business Casual attire for the Multicultural Alumni and Student Reception.

Cocktail or business attire for the reunion receptions and Alumni Award Dinner.

Wear your “Duck Gear” for the tailgate, watch party, and Duck game!


Where is the Friday evening Awards Dinner held?

The Law Alumni Awards Dinner (5:30-8:30 p.m.) will be held in the EMU Ballroom (1395 University St., 2nd floor).


Where do I pick up my football tickets?

For those attending the Friday dinner, any football tickets you purchased can be picked up at the check-in table.

If you are not attending the Awards Dinner, you can pick up your football game tickets at the Law Alumni Tailgate on Saturday at the Knight Law Center (1515 Agate St.) between 10:30 am -1:30 pm.

Tailgate admittance is included with your football tickets. The tailgate starts at 11:30 am.


Where is the football tailgate?

The Law Alumni Tailgate & Watch Party will take place at the Knight Law Center (1515 Agate St) from 11:30 am – game end.

Start your game day right with lawn games and show your Duck spirit in the photo booth! Stay to watch the game on the big screen in the law school.


What can I expect to eat and/or drink on Saturday?

The tailgate will provide a BBQ lunch and two drink tickets for non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.

Snacks will be provided during the watch party.

*Cash bar will be available after you use your two drink tickets.


How do we get to Autzen Stadium?

Autzen Stadium is located at 2700 Martin Luther King Blvd.

LTD provides an Autzen Shuttle from South Eugene High School (Corner of 19th and Patterson). The station is approximately 1.2 miles from the law school (about a 25 minute walk from the law school).

Autzen Stadium is approximately 1 mile from the Knight Law Center (about a 20 minute walk).


Can I bring children to the Alumni Weekend events?

While children are welcome to attend all of the scheduled events during Alumni Weekend, events are not designed to entertain children.

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide childcare for Alumni Weekend.


Do I need to buy a ticket to the events for my children?

For the football game, children under 2 years of age may enter Autzen Stadium without a ticket, however they must sit in the lap of the parent/guardian for the entirety of the game. All patrons over the age of 2 must have a ticket to enter.

For all other events, children under the age of 10 may attend free of charge. All patrons over the age of 10 must purchase a ticket.
