David Gubernick moved to Eugene, Oregon to study mediation. After taking his basic training in 1997, David became an active volunteer mediator, board and staff member with the Center for Dialogue & Resolution (formerly Community Mediation Services) over the past 20 years. During that time, David has also mediated in Family Mediation, Restorative Justice, Community Mediation, Small Claims Mediation for the Lane County Court and Foreclosure Avoidance Mediation for the State of Oregon as well as taught “Mindfulness in Mediation” in the Basic Mediation Trainings.
David holds a BA in Communications from Pennsylvania State University and had served in human resources management for over ten years in the non-profit sector with special interest in conflict resolution in the workplace. David also served on the Board of the Lane County Human Resources Association.
