The heart of the IT office is our student help desk. Our help desk is open during regular business hours and provides a full range of technical services. Our help desk offers friendly, helpful support with extraordinary customer service. Following are a list of the support services we offer:

  • New student IT orientation
  • Onsite warranty repair services for both Dell and Apple computers
  • A laptop loaner program
  • E-mail via WebMail and IMAP
  • Personal web space with 1GB of online storage space
  • Canvas-driven discussion boards for online class and group discussions (tutorial)
  • High-speed network printing
  • Unlimited access to WestLaw and Lexis
  • Wired and wireless networking throughout the Law School
  • Offsite VPN access to UO network
  • Access to campus-wide site licenses including McAfee AntiVirus, free access to Microsoft Office 365, and other discounted software through the UO Bookstore
