Tim Nord has been with the Oregon Department of Justice for over 20 years after starting his career in private practice as a business and commercial litigation attorney. His practice at the Department has covered a diverse spectrum of civil litigation, enforcement actions and investigations. Mr. Nord served as the Assistant Attorney-in-Charge of Antitrust and False claims, and the Department’s Financial Fraud/Consumer Protection Section. Mr. Nord now serves as Special Counsel within the Civil Enforcement Division. In addition to his management duties, he supervises some of the department’s most complex and high-profile enforcement matters, covering healthcare, privacy and consumer law. He currently serves on the executive committee of the Oregon State Bar’s Antitrust Section. He obtained his Juris Doctor, Order of the Coif, from the University of Oregon in 1988 and his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Davis in 1984.
