Kata Bahnsen-Reinhardt (she/her/hers) joined the Oregon Law team in October of 2007 first as a student worker and then in August of 2009 as the Program Assistant for the Conflict and Dispute Resolution Master’s (CRES) Program. In her current role as CRES Program Manager, Kata works closely with her Law and CRES colleagues to provide an excellent student experience and support structure. Kata works with students through the entirety of their experience in the CRES Program from recruitment and admissions to advising and support to alumni relations. She enjoys working with students in every part of their journey and is invested in their success.
Kata earned her Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a concentration in crime and delinquency from the University of Oregon in 2009 and is a graduate of Kamehameha Schools Kapalama (Imua!). In her free time, Kata enjoys playing rugby (15 years strong), weightlifting, exploring Oregon’s extraordinary outdoor playground, traveling the world (most recently Croatia), spending quality time with friends and family, and getting home to Hawaii as often as she can.
