As the law school's Associate Director of Faculty Research & Programs, Barbi Goosens (she/her) oversees and executes strategic projects and initiatives in support of the law school’s mission and goals. She oversees the law school’s faculty-administrative support services and staff and leads administrative planning and coordination for faculty research programming, academic programs, and other assigned projects and initiatives.
Barbi earned her BA in English, magna cum laude, from the University of Oregon and an MA in English Studies (focusing on composition and rhetoric, literature, and theory) from Western Washington University. Barbi taught college-level writing and rhetoric courses for six years before beginning a career in nonprofit development and administration. Before joining the law school staff, she served as the Associate Director of Development/Corporate, Foundation, and Donor Relations for University of Oregon's internationally renowned Oregon Bach Festival.
