Doug Quirke is the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Center's Research Associate. Since he began working at the center in 2014, he has worked with students on the center's Conservation Trust Project and on the Sustainable Land Use Project, both of which conduct research and analysis and provide innovative solutions to today's environmental problems.
A 1995 graduate of Oregon Law, Mr. Quirke began working on Clean Water Act cases on behalf of individuals and organizations soon after graduating from law school and being admitted to practice. Mr. Quirke founded Oregon Clean Water Action Project in 1999, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that enforces the Clean Water Act and raises public awareness about water quality issues in Oregon.
