Completed in 1999, the 138,000-square-foot William W. Knight Law Center is one of the finest law school facilities in the country. The Knight Law Center provides an ideal environment for study, and also reflects Oregon's signature warmth and informality. Built around a town square-style commons area, the building is filled with natural light. The Jaqua Law Library is spacious and modern, and other building highlights include comfortable offices for student journals and organizations, a mock courtroom, a 200-seat auditorium, a branch of the University of Oregon Duck Store (with books, snacks, gourmet coffee drinks, OregonLaw-branded products, and food) and—in keeping with law school tradition—a basketball court. The building complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The Knight Law Center is located on the east side of the university campus next to historic Hayward Field and the university's Student Recreation Center. It's also a short walk to several major dining facilities and the rest of the University of Oregon campus.
