Oregon Law has wheeled its way onto the list of the nation’s most bike-friendly law schools, according to a post by Tax-Prof Blog, which highlighted Eugene’s cycling culture and protected bike lanes.
Students can cycle to class, store their bikes securely at the law school, and take advantage of campus programs and community resources that make cycling affordable and convenient. These include a free workspace to repair bikes, bike rentals, an e-bike lending library, and opportunities to buy restored bikes at low cost.
Eugene’s seventy miles of shared-use paths, 190 miles of on-street bike lanes, and more than eight miles of protected bike lanes make it easy for Oregon Law students to explore the community.
