Emily Wanner is the managing director of the University of Oregon School of Law’s Portland Program, located in the heart of downtown Portland. Emily is a 2012 graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law, where she received concentrations in environmental and public interest law. She earned her bachelor of science in business management with minors in biology and political science from Iowa State University.
Prior to joining the law school’s Portland Program team, Emily served as program manager for the law school’s Environmental and Natural Resources Law Center and interned at many non-profit organizations, including the World Food Prize Foundation, the Surfrider Foundation, Trustees for Alaska, and the Western Environmental Law Center. Emily currently serves on the board of directors for the Oregon Women Lawyers Foundation and as Treasurer for the Oregon Legal Recruiters Association.
As Portland Program Managing Director, Emily enjoys assisting Oregon Law students in taking full advantage of the diverse and plentiful professional opportunities available to them in the Portland-metro area. When not at work, Emily enjoys reading, gardening, playing her piano, and relaxing with her husband, infant twins, and three dogs.
