Melissa Aubin serves as the Clerk of Court for the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon. During her 15 years of service to the Judiciary, Melissa served as Chief Deputy Clerk (2018-2021), Attorney Advisor (2010-2013; 2015-2018), and Law Clerk (2006-2008) in the District of Oregon. At the United States Supreme Court, Melissa served as Special Assistant to the Counselor to the Chief Justice (2014-2015) and as a Supreme Court Fellow (2008-2010). Prior to working for the federal courts, Melissa clerked at the Oregon Court of Appeals.
Melissa has taught several law courses at the University of Oregon School of Law in Eugene, Oregon; George Washington University School of Law in Washington, D.C.; and University of Lucerne Human Rights Academy in Lucerne, Switzerland. She is an Elected Member of the American Law Institute and serves on the Executive Committee of the ABA Judicial Division Lawyers Conference.
