Biography

Mark Fucile teaches Legal Profession as an adjunct at Oregon Law’s Portland campus.  Mark is also in private practice where he advises lawyers, law firms and legal departments throughout the Northwest on professional responsibility, the attorney-client privilege and law firm risk management.  Before co-founding his own firm in 2005, Mark was a partner and in-house ethics counsel at a large Northwest regional firm.  Mark has served as chair of the Washington State Bar Association Committee on Professional Ethics and as a member of the Oregon State Bar Legal Ethics Committee.  He is also the ethics columnist for the WSBA’s NWLawyer and the Multnomah (Portland) Bar’s Multnomah Lawyer and co-chairs the WSBA’s annual Law of Lawyering Conference.  Mark is a graduate of the U.C.L.A. School of Law.
