Biography

Madison (Madi) Prue is a proud alumna of the University of Oregon. A Pathway Scholarship recipient, she graduated summa cum laude in 2022 with majors in English and Political Science and a Legal Studies minor. As part of the Honors English Program, Madi produced a multi-generic thesis applying Indigenous feminist methodologies to analyses of Native creators’ self-representation in contemporary visual media (e.g., television and film). While attending UO, Madi worked in a variety of roles—from customer service clerk with Albertsons and peer advisor with the Political Science Department to Political Affairs Ambassador with The Borgen Project and Legal Research Intern with Oregon Law Center. For three years during college, she also served as a Career Center Assistant with Oregon Law’s Center for Career Planning and Professional Development. As Program Assistant for the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Center (ENR), Madi continues to be inspired by what first brought her to UO: the incredible community of advocates.
