Madi Prue is a proud alumna of the University of Oregon. A Pathway Scholarship recipient, she graduated summa cum laude in 2022 with majors in English and Political Science, certificates in Global Engagement and Public Policy & Political Action, and a Legal Studies minor. As part of the Honors English Program, she produced a multigeneric thesis applying Indigenous feminist methodologies to Native creators’ self-representation in contemporary visual media (e.g., television and film). While attending UO, Madi served as a Peer Advisor in the Department of Political Science, worked as a Political Affairs Intern with The Borgen Project, and researched the policing of unhoused individuals and communities as a Legal Research Intern with the Oregon Law Center. For three years prior to joining Oregon Law’s Environmental and Natural Resources Law (ENR) Center in August 2022, she was a Career Center Assistant with the law school’s Center for Career Planning and Professional Development.
As the ENR Center’s Program Assistant, Madi continually draws inspiration from the students, alumni, faculty, staff, and partners who make up the Oregon Law community.
