Eugene, Ore.—On Monday, July 16, law students and Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum, (class of '75), beat the heat by enjoying ice cream together at Prince Pückler's on 19th St. Many of the attending students are rising 2Ls who clerk with the Oregon Department of Justice.
University of Oregon President Michael Schill, a lawyer and former law school dean, and Marcilynn Burke, Dean of the School of Law also stopped by for the conversation with students, and of course, treats. The casual event offered an intimate opportunity to share personal experiences of law school and career paths. By the end of the social hour, students and the AG also shared pictures of their most trusted companions—their pets.
