Patrick Sponsler is the Administrator of the Oregon Office for Community Dispute Resolution (OOCDR) where he supports government and non-profit programs with grant administration, capacity building, and collaborative process management. Mr. Sponsler has served in a variety of positions with the University such as Oregon Bach Festival Contract Specialist, OOCDR Assistant and Interim Administrator, ADR Center basic mediation special projects coordinator, and an external appointment as lead ombudsman where he mediated disputes, conducted staff communication trainings, and implemented organizational assessment surveys.
Mr. Sponsler earned a Master of Public Administration degree and Magna Cum Laude honors for his Bachelor of Arts degree in conflict resolution studies, both of which were awarded from the University of Oregon. Mr. Sponsler also performed as a percussionist with UO’s Dance Africa where he shared West African traditional drum and dance rhythms with Oregon elementary students.
