Rachel is a native Oregonian that endured 11 years at the hands of her now ex-husband and would like to share some of the barriers that she faced while trying to become free from her abuser.

Faculty members are experiencing a significant increase in both the frequency and intensity of difficult dialogues in (and out of) their classrooms—and UO Law is no exception. Join the session to learn and practice classroom facilitation skills that leverage differing perspectives, cultivate understanding, and generate creative problem solving. This session will offer tools to help us wade through the tension, ambiguity, and conflict that often paralyzes us from addressing difficult conversations in the moment. Lunch will be served!
