Anna Reutin is a first-generation law student, Japanese American, daughter of immigrant parents, and the 2021 Minoru Yasui Fellow. She earned her BA in Political Science and East Asian Studies from McGill University and her MA in Political Science from Waseda University. Reutin experienced a diverse array of learning settings that contributed to her growth and success as a law student.
Oregon Law traditionally hosts several events in honor of Minoru Yasui’s legacy on his birthday, October 19. This year we are hosting a screening of Never Give Up: Minoru Yasui and the Fight for Justice, and a remote panel discussion on Minoru Yasui and Our Call to Honor His Civil Rights Legacy.
