Tom Housel is a Research Associate for the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Center. He works with students on the ENR Center’s Conservation Trust Project, Global Environmental Democracy Project, and Native Environmental Sovereignty Project on developing innovative strategies to combat the climate crisis.
A 2020 graduate of Oregon Law, Mr. Housel has experience working with nonprofit organizations engaged in climate policy and litigation, as well as some experience in the judicial system and private practice. Prior to returning to Oregon Law in 2022, he clerked for the Honorable Suzanne B. Chanti of Lane County Circuit Court and was a litigation associate at Garrett Hemann Robertson in Salem, Oregon.
