For example, if a company wants to drop the athlete from a sponsorship or an athlete wants to end the sponsorship, they often have to give 30 days' notice, and it has to be by mail. In addition, if an athlete needs to reschedule an event they must attend for the company, the agreement may require the athlete to give 10 days written notice.

Notices: Any notice required under this Agreement, such as termination, payment disputes, or changes to the use of the Athlete’s Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), must be in writing and sent by email, certified mail, or a recognized delivery service (e.g., FedEx).
