International Student Financial Support

Most international students are not eligible for federal student aid. (Non-US citizens may qualify for federal student aid.) The university offers a variety of scholarships for international students. Below is a list of resources you can explore. 

International Student and Scholar Services:  

Recipients share their culture with Eugene/Springfield schools and community groups and receive tuition remission scholarhips.
Provides tuition support to international students who advance the university’s interest in internationalizing the campus and maintaining a globally diverse student population. 
Funded by generous donors intended to support specific students. There is a single application for all the endowed scholarships which range from $1,000 to $15,000. 
Grants more than 50 work-study awards, ranging from $500–$6,000 each year, to eligible international students with financial need.
Instituted both as a commitment to rebuilding Nepal after the earthquake and as a reaffirmation of Eugene’s unique sister city relationship with Kathmandu.
Suggestions including international student emergency financial aid, severe economic hardship employment authorizations, and more.

General University Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement.
