The University of Oregon School of Law released a special publication today. Dean Marcilynn A. Burke reports on the law school’s progress and achievements for the past five years. In the Dean’s Report, she highlights the progress of the law school’s strategic initiatives and showcases the core areas of excellence.
Accomplishments include the expansion of the business law program, progress on diversity and leadership initiatives, increasing the size of the JD incoming classes, improving bar passage rates, providing practice-ready skills development for law students, and recording a 20 percentage point increase in JD employment rates 10 months after graduation!
Dean Burke cites the power of community to drive meaningful change. Faculty, staff, students, and alumni came together to achieve these impactful goals. Though this new publication is filled with Oregon Law’s recent accomplishments, it cannot possibly tell the whole story. Please be sure to check our website regularly as we continue to highlight the strengths of this world-class law school.
