Students interested in public law and policy are engaged in issues that shape our lives. The Public Law and Policy Program offers two concentrations that guide students through a customizable course-load to prepare for careers in public interest law or law and public policy:
To complete the requirements in either concentration, a student must take courses from an established curriculum and complete an academic research paper of high professional quality that focuses on an issue relevant to public interest law or law and public policy. A full list of requirements is available to current students in MyLaw under "Forms" in the Registrar's tab.
Students who complete a concentration in either Public Interest Law or Law and Public Policy and a Pro Bono Certificate in accordance with the Pro Bono Program’s requirements will earn their Concentration with Pro Bono Honors.
