OPB: Oregonians may soon have some options when it comes to becoming licensed attorneys in the state, following a recent decision by the state Supreme Court.
Kaitlyn Lindaman, a 3L at Oregon Law, is participating in Baylor Law’s The Closer 2022. This preeminent national law competition begins this week. The Closer is an innovative and invitation-only competition, with students from participating schools competing to win a total of $10,000 in top prizes, and bragging rights as top closer.
Oregon Law is taking part in a new Bar Fellows program instituted by the Lane County Bar Association (LCBA). Four UO law students earned the fellowship during the 2021-22 academic year. This year’s LCBA Fellows are Amber Bozeman, Danielle Riege, Fiona Vettes, and Kiali Wong.
Two Oregon Law Fellows, Anne Wolke, and Brenden Catt, recently presented at the State of the Coast conference hosted by Sea Grant. The two shared innovative ideas and research about Oregon’s Coast, and how to preserve its natural beauty.
